HOLLYWOOD - Cofete beach, 12km of virgin beach and rough sea, is located in the south of the island of Fuerteventura. that began to surface about 22 million years ago, and it is not common to find volcanic islands more than 6 million years old, so
it is a challenge of nature.

THE CHEESE
Majorero cheese was the first goat cheese in Spain to obtain the Protected Designation of Origin. The first Spanish goat cheese to obtain the PDO in 1996 is Queso Majorero de Fuerteventura. This is what the island tastes like: soft, semi-cured or cured cheese, natural, with gofio or paprika. An authentic Maxorata delight.
You can taste it anywhere on the island. The gastronomy of Fuerteventura is a reason for traveling for true foodies. Wrinkled or boiled potatoes, Tuineje tomato, majorera goat or the very fresh fish ...

.

If there is something that Fuerteventura can boast of, without a doubt, it is its cheeses in their different varieties: fresh, tender, semi-cured and cured, but also with paprika, smoked, with gofio, in oil ...? ? The truth is, it is very difficult to choose.

.

Most of them are goat cheeses, for being the most abundant animal in these parts, incredible cheeses, unctuous, and with numerous national and international awards and recognitions. This is the case, for example, of the Ganaderos de Fuerteventura Group cheeses, which have accumulated numerous awards over the years, including the prestigious International Cheese Awards.

The WOMAD its great music festival

WOMAD It is the multicultural experience of WOMAD, a festival that brings together artists from all over the globe, offering a unique diffusion space for voices that do not occupy a conspicuous place in the audiovisual or rotating media. The dynamics of this special event is none other than fostering the connection between different peoples through something as universal and contagious as music. In this 2017 there is a doubt that it will be celebrated again.
